It involves focusing on the traumatic memory while simultaneously engaging in rhythmic eye movements or tapping. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This combination helps the brain process the traumatic memory differently, reducing its emotional impact and allowing the person to move forward.
